    Human Resource Executive

    Description

    • This pivotal role is designed to foster a positive work environment, streamline human resources processes, and ensure efficient administrative operations within the firm.
    • The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing HR strategies that support our mission and values.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and company standards.
    • Manage employee benefits programs and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
    • Facilitate performance management, including setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and supporting career development.
    • Address employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions with utmost professionalism and confidentiality.
    • Assess training needs and organize development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
    • Lead career development and succession planning efforts to build a strong talent pipeline within the organization.
    • Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture and enhance retention.
    • Manage daily administrative functions, such as office management, facilities maintenance, and procurement.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Law, or related field.
    • MBA in Human Resources, Psychology, or related discipline.
    • Professional HR certifications (CIPM, HRCi, SHRM, or equivalent) are preferred.
    • A minimum of 5 - 7 years’ experience in core HR functions, with proven leadership roles, ideally within consulting, advisory firms, or dynamic environments.
    • Comprehensive understanding of Nigerian labor legislation, HR best practices, and industry standards.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively across all organizational levels.
    • Strong business acumen, high emotional intelligence, and effective coaching skills.

    Skills:

    • Proficient in HR analytics and familiar with HR software tools.
    • Expertise in compensation, benefits planning, and HR budgeting.
