Legal Manager at Afrihood Development Company

This role is in the Legal Services Department of Afrihood Development Company and reports directly to the Managing Director.

We are recruiting to fill the position of the Legal Manager

Responsibilities: 

As the Legal Manager, you will play a pivotal role in Afrihood's growth and development by:

• Researching, making due diligence, and facilitating the acquisition of viable lands and properties
• Negotiating, drafting, and executing agreements and contracts on behalf of the company
• Registering and perfecting land titles and other legal documents
• Providing expert advice on contract status, legal risks, and associated liabilities
• Anticipating and addressing unique legal issues that may impact the company
• Reviewing advertising and marketing materials to ensure compliance with legal requirements
• Overseeing all legal, statutory, and policy matters of the company
• Staying updated with organizational changes and business developments

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of law practice experience
• Demonstrated managerial experience
• High level of discipline and integrity
• Prompt and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
• Energetic and adaptable
• Reliable, independent, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to thrive under pressure and work autonomously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
