    Smart Micro Gardening Farming Training Consultant (60 Days)

    Job Summary

    • Bincike International is seeking a qualified consultant to conduct Micro Vegetable Gardening Training for Women and adolescent girls Exiting Armed Groups in Mubi North and South.
    • The consultancy will be divided into two phases: Phase 1 focuses on basics and Phase 2 involves practical teaching and monitoring of the usage of the start-up provided for the participants.

    Scope of Work
    Phase 1: Basics (Days 1-20):

    • Develop a comprehensive curriculum for micro vegetable gardening training tailored to the needs of women and adolescent girls.
    • Conduct pre-training assessments to understand the knowledge and skill levels of the participants.
    • Deliver classroom-based training sessions covering topics such as soil preparation, seed selection, planting techniques, watering, pest management, and basic gardening practices.
    • Provide participants with relevant educational materials and resources to support their learning.
    • Facilitate interactive discussions and practical exercises to reinforce learning objectives.
    • Conduct regular progress evaluations to track participants' understanding and address any challenges.

    Phase 2: Practical Teaching and Monitoring (Days 21-35):

    • Organize hands-on practical sessions at designated gardening sites to demonstrate gardening techniques learned in Phase 1.
    • Distribute gardening kits and materials to participants to initiate their micro vegetable gardens.
    • Provide guidance and support to participants as they implement the gardening techniques learned.
    • Conduct regular site visits to monitor the progress of participants' gardens and provide feedback and assistance as needed.
    • Document success stories, challenges, and lessons learned during the implementation phase.
    • Prepare a comprehensive report detailing the outcomes of the training program, including participant feedback, impact assessment, and recommendations for future interventions.
