    Front Desk Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a friendly, organized, and attentive Front Desk Officer to join our team in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a comfortable stay for our guests.
    • As a Front Desk Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for managing check-in/check-out, room assignments, and communication with housekeeping and maintenance staff.

    Responsibilities

    • Greet and welcome guests, manage check-in/check-out procedures
    • Assign rooms, handle room key distribution, and manage room changes
    • Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to guest inquiries
    • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure prompt service
    • Manage guest complaints and feedback with professionalism and courtesy
    • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
    • Assist with guest requests, such as extra towels or luggage storage
    • Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions
    • Collaborate with the management team on special events and promotions

    Requirements

    • 0-1 year of experience in a hotel, guest house, or hospitality environment
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Familiarity with hotel management software and POS systems

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with reservation systems and room assignment management
    • Knowledge of local area and attractions
    • Certification in hospitality or customer service is a plus
    • Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
