Job Description

• The primary role of the PFMO will be to support the LGA health authorities (LGHA) in strengthening performance and financial management across primary health care (PHC) facilities in the LGA, with the focus on PHC facilities that receive Decentralized Facility Financing (DFF) from the Federal Government.
• The PFMOS will promote transparent, efficient and accountable fiduciary approaches consistent with the government of Nigeria's public financial rules and regulations.

This engagement is for a period of one year (12 months)

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or HND in any field
• 0-2 years of experience in the field of Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, health economics or any related field is desirable.
• One year of working experience as a finance officer or in any finance role.Financial audit experience is also desirable.
• Tech savvy, Proficient in the use of Microsoft office and accounting software, e.g., QuickBooks
• A progressively responsible working experience in the Nigerian health sectors finance operations and experience working with management of government and partner funds at state and LGA levels is an advantage.
