    Procurement Manager

    Job Description
    Procurement help desk and user administration services:

    • Process PR for approval in 8 hours turn-round time for non-specialized work.
    • Process PR for approval in 12 hours turn-round time for specialized work.
    • Send weekly update reports to the operations JCFM on status on PR progress.
    • Provide insights in procurement review and processes and user-guide as the need arises.
    • Follow and execute action plans to resolve problems with end users and suppliers with regards to the procuring of assets, and goods.

    Strategic Sourcing:

    • Select and recommend best qualified vendor for MP approval
    • Process Purchase Order based on procurement manager approval.
    • Review and update asset and inventory register
    • Carry out market survey to determine the best possible price for commodities while ensuring cost effectiveness commensurate with quality.
    • Prepare accurate records and documentation on all solicitations, responses, procurements, contracts, correspondence and related follow up.
    • Soliciting complaints and improvements from end users/clients
    • Assist to review and contribute to the update of the evaluation process.

    Inventory management:

    • Update inventory database, work on control and material management activities.
    • Follow inventory database procedures in carrying out inventory process.
    • Advise and recommend to MP for commonly purchased product or service for effective future planning.

    Requirements

    • A First Degree in Logisitics or Management or any other related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience
    • A procurement / Supply chain certification is an advantage.
