    Head of Account

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Communicating with other departments within the company to provide them with financial information they need to do their jobs
    • Reviewing financial statements to ensure they are accurate, using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xerox to keep track of accounts
    • Preparing reports such as profit and loss statements, cash flow analyses, or balance sheets
    • Preparing tax returns for companies or individuals, including personal income tax returns and corporate tax returns
    • Creating budgets and monitoring expenditures to ensure adherence to established budgets
    • Preparing payroll for all employees covered by federal and state labor laws
    • Working closely with executive management to formulate long-term financial planning strategies for the company
    • Reviewing financial statements from external sources such as banks and investment firms
    • Preparing reports and analyses that help managers make important business decisions, such as evaluating the performance of specific departments or identifying new business opportunities

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
    • ACA or ICAN certified is preferable
    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as head of account in a reputable organization.
    • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
    • Proven ability to track and manage several projects simultaneously
    • Ability to work both under supervision and independently
    • Proven management experience.
    • Knowledge of market research techniques.
    • Working knowledge of CRM software.
    • Understanding of budgeting and reporting.
    • Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
