    Female Restaurant Accountant

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    Financial Management:

    • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and reconciliations.
    • Manage cash flow, monitor receivables and payables, and ensure timely financial transactions.

    Accounting and Reporting:·  

    • Prepare and analyze financial statements regularly.
    • Generate insightful financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.

    Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Develop and manage budgets in collaboration with the management team.
    • Utilize forecasting techniques to predict financial trends and make informed decisions.

    Cost Control:

    • Implement measures to control costs related to food, labor, and overhead.
    • Conduct regular cost analysis to identify areas for improvement.

    Tax Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
    • Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns.

    Inventory Management:

    • Oversee inventory processes, tracking, and reconciliation.
    • Implement strategies to minimize losses and optimize inventory levels.

    Regulatory Compliance:

    • Stay updated on financial regulations and ensure the restaurant's compliance.
    • Work with the management team to address any legal or regulatory financial issues.

    Communication and Collaboration:

    • Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with different departments to gather relevant financial data.

    Requirements:

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on restaurant or hospitality.

    Skills:

    • Proficient in accounting principles and practices.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with accounting software and technology tools.

    Availability:

    • Willingness to work weekends and accept a shift-based position.

    Industry Knowledge:

    • Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.

    Adaptability:

    • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
    • Flexibility in handling unexpected financial challenges.

    Communication:

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to explain financial concepts to individuals with varying levels of financial literacy.
