• The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization
• You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.

Duties:

• Ensure or execute statutory and commercial accounting according to the legal requirements and IFRS guidelines.
• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goalsEnsure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to inform financial decisions.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, such as executives, investors, and suppliers.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
• Monitor and analyze key financial indicators, such as revenue, expenses, and cash flow, to identify potential risks or opportunities.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity and optimize cash utilization.
• Evaluate and mitigate financial risks, including market fluctuations, interest rate risks, and credit risksOversee day-to-day financial operations, i.e account payable and receivable, payroll, and transactionsPrepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and presentations for management Ensure up-to-date knowledge of (local) financial and fiscal laws, theories and developments and financial contractual requirements
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
• Develop, plan, and implement innovative and cost-effective supply chain strategies.
• Identify and develop financing opportunities in line with department targets

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field;
• Minimum of 6 years' experience working as a finance manager and developing financial reports and metrics
• Experience in preparing financial statements according to IRFRS
• Must have Taxation experience, i.epreparing annual tax returns
• Must be a certified Accountant (either ICAN, CIMA or ACCA membership)
• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, experience with datasets, VBA, PowerQuery, Power Pivot or PowerBI
