    Financial Control Analyst

    Job Purpose

    • The Financial Control Analyst is responsible for strengthening financial controls, optimizing processes, and ensuring regulatory compliance with relevant statutory law and financial regulations.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive internal control framework to safeguard financial assets. 
    • Ensure company compliance with relevant statutory law and financial regulations eg, SOX, AML.   
    • Conduct periodic internal control assessments and audits, identifying areas of improvement and implementing corrective actions. 
    • Conduct the preparation and distribution of timely, monthly consolidated financial statements and reports. 
    • Perform comprehensive analytical reviews of financial statements to gain insights into financial performance of the business and identify key trends and indicators. 
    • Be well versed in finance matters whilst handling inquiries, developing action plans to address them.   
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data for reporting purposes. 
    • Assess current financial processes to pinpoint areas for optimization and enhanced efficiency.

    Special Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study.   
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in Internal control, process and compliance in financial service, FMCG or ecommerce. 
    • Excellent knowledge of local GAAP rules, international accounting standards (IFRS, IAS) and regulations is required.    
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.   
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.   
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.   
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity
