General Assembly Member at ActionAid Nigeria

Description

• ActionAid Nigeria General Assembly was constituted in 2009. It is the governing authority and highest decision - making organ of ActionAid Nigeria. It delegates governance powers to the Governance Board. 
• With the recent retirement of some General Assembly members and in accordance with the requirements of the Governance manual, ActionAid Nigeria is seeking replacement in the General Assembly. 

Job Responsibilities

• We seek experienced and passionate professionals with background in Communications & Media, Legal, Resource Mobilisation, Work with Movements and networks, Health programming and youth representative (s) to replace the retired members of the General Assembly.
• Membership of the General Assembly in ActionAid Nigeria is a voluntary position in AAN and do not receive any compensation other than the cost of imbursement for direct experience incurred in the course of AAN assignments.

Requirements

• Interested candidates applying must have strong values of accountability, good governance, and commitment to the cause of the poor and excluded, courage of conviction and taking sides with the less privileged to eradicate poverty. 
• We are seeking candidates from the six geo – political zones of Nigeria.
