    Head, People and Culture

    Job Description
    Culture:

    • Lead continued development of organizational culture and staff engagement strategies
    • Provide support and advice to the Management on issues regarding change management, policy formulation and implementation, and workculture
    • Create and/or update policies, procedures and programs asneeded
    • Define and create strategies for GText’sorganizational culture goals,working to make the organization an employer of choice
    • Ensure that GText is an equitable and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and can thrive through training, coaching, and overall strategy and practice
    • Liaise with Team Lead, Process and Compliance, to ensure employees comply with the organization’s culture
    • Monitor,review and update allpolicies,processes and procedures,and ensure they are in line with the labour laws, current trends and international standards

    Recruitment and Selection:

    • Build on the GText’s current recruitment and hiring processes to attract diverse and qualified employees at every role
    • Define, create, and execute the communications strategy and branding for recruitment and talent acquisition
    • Develop and drive recruitment campaigns.
    • Ensure the proper negotiation of terms and conditions of employment with staff.
    • Build and maintain talent pipeline to track and communicate with candidates.

    On-boarding and Retention:

    • Implement and continually improve the organization’s on-boarding and new hire training process, making sure new employees feel welcomed, informed about their benefits, and prepared to excel in their roles
    • Develop innovative and creative retention strategies to ensure employees are retained
    • Lead the implementation of retention strategies across GText, ensuring both management and employees fulfil their obligations to each other, and activities are actioned, and results are owned

    Training and Performance Management:

    • Ensure performance appraisals are conducted frequently.
    • Identify performance gaps via training needs analysis, and develop a performance improvement plan accordingly.
    • Design and review policies related to employee performance.
    • Organize bi-monthly in-house training for staff.
    • Drive performance in line with organization’sobjectives.
    • Design and review policies related to performance Employee Relations and Administration.
    • Ensure all employment related documents and record are accurately filled andstored.
    • Ensure employee database are constantly updated.
    • First point of contact for all employee related queries and concerns.
    • Conduct stay interviews and surveys every trimester to understand how employees feel.
    • Organize quarterly team bonding activities.

    GText Academy and GText Jobs:

    • Oversee all activities of the Academy
    • Liaise with the Head of GText Academy to organize the schedules and course outline during session
    • Ensure results are compiled and certificates are awarded at the end of every session
    • Organize job/career fairs at the end of every physical session
    • Ensure session kick-starts and ends intime
    • Oversee the activities of GTextJobs

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or any related field, from an accredited university
    • A Master’s Degree is an added advantage
    • Must possess a professional certification in Human Resources (CIPM, PHRi, GPHR, SHRM-CP)
    • A minimum of 3 years experience as a HR Generalist, and 1 year experience as a Manager
    • Must reside in VI, Lekki, Ikoyi axis
    • Must be available to resume immediately

    Salary
    N180,000 monthly
