Junior Marketing Specialist at Zap Africa

Role Description

• As a Junior Marketing Specialist, you will work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
• You will assist in creating content, managing social media channels, analysing campaign performance, and contributing to overall marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and email
• Create and curate engaging content for social media posts, blog articles, email newsletters, and other marketing materials
• Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of marketing materials
• Assist in the organisation of promotional events, trade shows, and other marketing activities
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with social media management and digital marketing platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Google Analytics)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Prior internship or work experience in marketing is a plus
