    Kitchen Supervisor

    Responsibilities

    • Supervising the food prep and cooking
    • Ensuring kitchen hygiene and dealing with environmental health inspections.
    • Ensure the safety of the food that comes out of the kitchen.
    • Scheduling kitchen and staff shifts.
    • Manage direct meal preparation and supervise all kitchen staff.
    • Arranged daily menus and apportioned ingredients.
    • Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed.
    • Managing inventory.

    Requirements

    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Ensure adherence to all food safety practices on a consistent basis.
    • As a kitchen supervisor, you lead a team of culinary professionals by managing work schedules.
    • Solid culinary background: food preparation, cooking, and presentation of food.
