Chowdeck is a technology company that provides logistics services to both vendors and consumers. This potentially allows food vendors to deliver meals seamlessly while also providing consumers with an easy platform to order meals from their favourite restaurants in their city.
About the Sales Associate Role
As a Sales Associate you’ll drive Chowdeck’s future growth engine by building relationships with prospective clients and turning them into happy Chowdeck vendors. You’ll handle the full sales cycle for small, medium and large sized food vendors. You will own the relationship and be the main point of contact with merchants that will be instrumental to Chowdeck’s future growth, identify new business opportunities, and work to increase market share and adoption of Chowdeck within our target sector.
You are an adept salesperson seeking to build a long-term career in sales. You are capable of engaging in business-level conversations and comfortable having entry-level technical conversations at multiple levels of the organization. You have an understanding of the buyer journey and can lead short, single stakeholder deals in a highly consultative manner. You understand how to communicate value to differentiate competing product offerings and enjoy working on products that require deep product knowledge.

This is a full-time, hybrid role and you’ll report directly to the Head of Sales and Partnerships.
What You'll Be Doing?
As a Sales Associate, you’ll:
Manage a sales cycle from lead identification and/or assignment to close, for small, medium and large sized restaurants and businesses.
Receive inbound sales requests, qualify and close them. You will work closely with restaurant management and support team to convert these requests
Own a named account list and develop outbound plans for creating, nurturing, winning and expanding business within your target sectors
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and operational teams both within and outside Chowdeck
What it takes to succeed at this role
While this is NOT strictly required, it would be a plus if you have previous experience in the Food delivery sector.
