    Sales Executive

    Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days on site, 2 days from home)

    Job Summary

    Our client is a pan-African company involved in real estate development, investment, publishing, training and marketing; with a track record of delivering several housing estates through its strategic land investment products. 

    The company is looking for an ambitious and outcome-focused entry-level executive to join its growing business development and sales team. As a Sales Executive, you will take initiative and responsibility for activities that help the company expand its market share and drive its growth efforts across all products in the company’s portfolio. 

    To excel in this role, you must have prior sales experience and a keen enthusiasm for selling. You must be able to take ownership and manage the delivery of your work while maintaining a productive relationship with your colleagues.     Key Responsibilities 

    • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
    • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
    • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.
    • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
    • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
    • Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations.
    • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
    • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
    • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
    • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role (Not more than 2 - 3 years).
    • Proficiency in English.
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
    • Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus.
    • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
    • Fast learner and passion for sales.
    • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
    • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
    • High school degree.
