Security Supervisor, DCT at Dangote

Job Summary:

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily security operations, ensuring that DCT environment remains secure. The Security Supervisor supervises the security team and also maintain and enforce vital security protocols. The Security Supervisor plays a pivotal role in identifying and addressing potential risks, collaborating with various departments, and strategizing to neutralize threats.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise security officers and guards.
• Attend meetings with Security Managers to determine operational needs.
• Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
• Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
• Review reports on incidents and breaches
• Investigate and resolve security issues
• Create reports for the Chief Security Officer on security status
• Analyze data to form proposals for improvements

Requirements

• Bsc or HND in Security Administration or related fields.
• Proven experience in a security supervisory role, with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or private security is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred.
• Clean criminal record and ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform security duties, including standing, walking, patrolling, and responding to emergencies.
