    Senior Pharmacist - Retail

    Job Description

    As a Senior Pharmacist, you will play a key role in overseeing our pharmacy operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our customers. You will lead a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the highest standards of patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

    Job Functions/Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including dispensing medications, counseling patients, and managing inventory.
    • Ensure compliance with all federal and state pharmacy regulations and company policies.
    • Provide clinical expertise and guidance to pharmacy staff on medication therapy management and patient care.
    • Monitor prescription orders for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness.
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and promote medication safety.
    • Train and mentor pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and interns.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance activities.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation of pharmacy activities.

    Requirements/Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a recognized institution.
    • Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
    • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience working in a retail pharmacy setting.
    • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical care principles.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
