    Service Advisor

    About the Role:

    • The Service Advisor would be responsible for making the interface between the customer and the workshop easy and making a substantial contribution towards the success of the After-Sales field.

    Responsibilities

    • Documenting the customer's problem/symptoms in a workshop order and defining the scope and type of work.
    • Coordinating the scope of services for repair and maintenance with the customer and obtaining their approval.
    • Using various checklists during service reception (service registration, reception preparation, carrying out reception and preliminary diagnosis), which makes it possible to check and document the proper performance of the individual work steps.
    • Transparent documentation for the customer of all the open work that has been performed and all the required parts.
    • Ensuring that the customer's vehicle is in order and the customer's appointment is kept.
    • Monitoring the degree to which maintenance and repair orders have been completed and coordinating order additions or appointment changes with the customer and the workshop.
    • Documenting the work performed and ensuring the vehicle is at the parking lot.
    • Performing a visual inspection as instructed by the supervisor.
    • Preparing for customer consultation and coordinating vehicle handover with the customer.
    • Performing other work duties as directed by supervisor.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in automotive aftersales.
    • A computer literate with proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications especially Microsoft Excel.
    • Proven record of success in customer-facing roles and in providing customer services.
    • Basic automobile/technical knowledge and skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent organisational skills, willingness to learn and work.
    • Excellent communication and time management skills.
