Role Summary
You will be expected to provide the Marketing direction and support within the organization, actively participate in the organization’s strategy, communications, brand management as well as event planning and coordinating, and overall help in maintaining and improving the appropriate image of the company.
He/She will also be responsible for internal and external communications, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders in implementing the firm's marketing plan.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Crafting strategies for all Marketing teams, including Digital, Advertising, Communications, Media Strategy, Buying and Planning, Business Development, Events, Partnerships, and Branding
Preparing and managing monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department
The setting, monitoring, and reporting on team goals
Responsible for all aspects of projects, including meeting deadlines, time management, contingency planning, approval channels and procedures, budgeting, campaign analysis, and tracking/monitoring procedures
Establish and articulate project scope, strategy, and objectives
Articulate product and service offerings, key benefits, and messages for use by sales and marketing
Track financial expenditures and incomes of the marketing department
Monitor competition; Understand the products and services offering and approach of key competitors;
communicate products and services differentiation to sales and provide input to senior leadership
Craft hiring plans
Internal reporting on ROI for the department
Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
Stay abreast of market trends
Develop market training programs
Branding and Public Relations
Branding
Drive financial confidence through accurate and informative financial messages
Drive industry leadership through profiling key management on innovation that answers the needs of clients.
Build a media network that will enable the organization to use the media positively and effectively
Ensure a risk management plan is developed and updated, enabling the company to respond quickly in times of crisis
Oversee all planning for news conferences, including selecting the site for an event, arranging for banners and other graphics to be displayed at the event, preparing packets of information to distribute to the media, and preparing executives to speak at news conferences.
Write and distribute news releases and respond to media inquiries.
Arrange for spokespersons to appear on local television and radio programs.
Produce newsletters, brochures, and other online materials designed for the general public.
Create and manage companies’ CSR campaigns and activations
Monitor newspapers, television news broadcasts, and other outlets to see what the media is saying about OnePort 365 and to devise strategies to address misinformation.
Public Relations
Develop and execute the marketing strategy in key cities and countries to project our new positioning/offerings to engage new and existing consumers
Develop and conduct programs and initiatives to increase leads generated, working alongside digital product and sales team
Liaising with events coordinators to maximize visibility at conferences, receptions, and exhibitions, including
compiling product and literature lists to display or demonstrate
Managing brand presence at events such as conferences, seminars, receptions, and exhibitions
Identify relevant brand collaboration opportunities between other corporate and personal brands while managing their interaction with the OnePort 365 brand.
Develop and execute engagement experiences, events, and activations that are in line with the new
positioning and offerings to effectively reach, engage and convert our core target
Contribute to ideating and defining how new products will be creatively expressed across all channels
bringing fresh and original ideas that will help us deliver innovative and disruptive marketing activity
Create and develop new revenue opportunities through continued sponsorships and advertising inventory development, promotions, and in-kind relationships
Develop and implement a sponsorship sales plan and program guidelines for increasing revenues and
sponsor satisfaction/support. Target objectives include increasing sponsorship sales and creating sponsorship products
Manage all sponsorship activities including sponsor prospecting, proposal customization, contract revision, and servicing, sponsor follow-up and support, trade shows development
Marketing and Digital
Develop and implement strategic offline and online digital marketing programs and campaigns to support business and brand objectives
Develop in-house omnichannel digital marketing and marketing automation/personalization
capabilities by collaborating with product, brand, IT, and agencies to effectively provide best practices
Training and excellence to enable project and product success.
Develop analytics and reporting dashboards to support the understanding and management of digital marketing performances, such as user conversion, engagement, cohort analysis, and other advanced segmented analysis.
Develop strategies to attract more visitors, increase engagement, build conversions and develop organic awareness.
Guide the development, coordination, and performance of digital marketing initiatives, including monitoring scheduling, planning.
Stay up to date with digital technologies and marketing innovation developments
Maintain a thorough understanding of the customer journey and enhance the digital experience wherever possible through automated touches via appropriate channels. Regularly recommend new touchpoints
Develop strategies to improve website traffic and search engine rankings.
Measure, analyze and report on digital marketing performance through KPIs, demonstrate ROIs on each channel, provide actionable insights based on analytics, and make recommendations for modification to increase ROI.s.
