    Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

    The Role: 

    As a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will play a crucial role in the company's financial strategy and decision-making process. You will lead a team responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support Flutterwave's growth objectives.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Develop and manage the company's annual budgeting process in alignment with strategic objectives. Work closely with department heads to gather input, analyze trends, and establish financial targets.
    • Develop and maintain robust financial forecasting models to provide insights into future performance. Continuously monitor key financial metrics and market trends to refine forecasts and identify risks and opportunities.
    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. Provide insights on revenue drivers, cost optimization opportunities, and investment priorities.
    • Prepare regular financial reports and dashboards for senior management and key stakeholders. Present financial performance and variance analysis, highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate new business opportunities, product launches, and strategic initiatives. Provide financial insights to support decision-making and ensure alignment with overall company goals.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency. Implement best practices in financial planning and analysis to improve accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
    • Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Provide guidance on technical skills development and career progression.

    Required competency and skillset to be a Waver:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CFA and any of , ACA, ACCA or CPA preferred.
    • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis roles, preferably in the technology or fintech industry.
    • Proven track record of leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes in a multinational group of companies with footprints across various markets and multiple products. 
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and MS Excel; experience with financial planning software/tools is a plus.
    • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

    Senior Manager, Financial Reporting

    The Role: 

    As a Senior Manager, Financial Reporting, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the company's growth and success.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).

    Required competency and skillset to be a Waver:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
    • 8+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, or audit roles, preferably in a technology or financial services company.
    • Strong understanding of IFRS, OHADA, GAAP and other relevant accounting  standards.
    • Experience with consolidation and multi-entity financial reporting.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis, including the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
    • Solid understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements.
    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications.
    • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and financial reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion, Workiva) is a plus.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    Senior Associate, Financial Reporting and Statutory Audits

    The Role: 

    Flutterwave is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate, Financial Reporting and Statutory Audits. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting external audits.     • Coordinate and manage transfer pricing audits by tax authorities, including preparation of documentation, responses to inquiries, and negotiation of resolutions to ensure favorable outcomes for Flutterwave.
    • Offer expert tax advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on various tax matters, including structuring transactions, tax implications of business initiatives, and potential tax risks and opportunities.
    • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations in relevant jurisdictions and assess their potential impact on Flutterwave's tax compliance obligations and overall business operations.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and external tax advisors, to ensure alignment of tax strategies with business objectives and foster a culture of tax compliance within the organization.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline tax compliance processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices to optimize tax compliance efforts across Flutterwave's global operations.
    • Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging issues related to tax compliance, transfer pricing, and regulatory developments to proactively address potential challenges and capitalize on opportunities.

    Required competency and skillset to be a Waver:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field; Advanced degree and professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACA, ACCA, CTA) preferred.
    • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in tax compliance, transfer pricing, and tax audits, preferably in a multinational corporation or professional services firm.
    • Strong understanding of international tax laws, transfer pricing principles, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing tax compliance projects and transfer pricing audits, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes and mitigating tax risks.
