The Quality Control Manager has responsibility for ensuring consistent quality of production by ensuring GMP, validating processes, providing documentation and managing staff under him.

In addition, he shall be responsible for following:

• Ensure all testing procedure are as per SOP and international method.
• Responsible for delivering timely & accurate results to Production team.
• Ensure all delivered test results are reliable and repeatable.
• Developing Internal standards for Raw material, In-Process, Finished Goods.
• Responsible for Raw Material & Finished Good clearance.
• Preparation of all reports (Daily MIS, Monthly MIS, CoA and etc.)
• Maintains and updates all Documentations and Records on a timely basis.
• Keeping record and timely doing instrument calibration.
• Mock drill of product recall/traceability at least once in 3 month and updates related document for statutory requirement.
• Sound knowledge on testing of all products related to paddy and Rice.
• Attends to market complaints at any location and at any time as per QA/QC Requirements and prepare CAPA.
• Ensure all finished goods clearances & dispatches to meet with the specification of internal/external/customer requirements.
• Ensure all incoming goods are meets our internal and external standards.
• Actively coordinate with other functions namely warehousing, Manufacturing, sourcing, R&D, giving advises & seek improvements from respective functions.
• Deviation report preparation.

Requirements

• Diagnoses mechanical failures and repairs tractor/tractor components according to manuals, factory specifications and knowledge of engine performances, using hand tools, power tools and testing instruments: Attaches compression, ignition and timing test instruments to certain parts of tractor, using clamps and hand tools.
• Knowledge in JD 9000 series tractor repair and maintenance, fuel injector, transmission & hydraulic calibrations.
• Knowledge in JD Service Adviser and troubleshooting / diagnose.
• Starts engine dials and reads meters and gauges of testing equipment to diagnose engine malfunction.
• Plan and ordering adequate spares for equipment availabilities and smother operation.
• Ability to do annual maintenance budget and spares.
• Removes and disassembles engine, transmission, axles, brakes, hydraulics and handling of workshop special tools, hoists, jacks and hand tools.
• Inspects parts for damage and verifies dimensions and clearances of parts for conformance to factory specifications, using gauges, tools.
• Replaces or repairs worn or damaged parts.
• General: Grinds valves, adjusting, tightens body bolts, weld defective body or frame parts, machining, etc.
• Safety protocol should be followed in workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with minimum 8 – 10 year's experience in John Deere
• Completion of an accredited John Deere tractor mechanic program
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmission, hydraulics & electricals
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and leading the service team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
