    HVAC Electrical Technician

    Job Summary

    Perform routine maintenance, installation and repairs to all refrigeration and air conditioning appliances in the plant and estate.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform routine maintenance which includes but is not limited to the following: fault analysis, component replacements, alignments and calibration, repairs, installation of new Air conditioning and refrigeration and modification if required.
    • Perform installation of HVAC equipment using prescribed blueprints, schematics, manuals, or other specifications installation procedures.
    • Develop or modify industrial HVAC equipment, according to available specifications.
    • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance to all Management Systems.
    • Perform any other duties assigned by the HVAC Engine.

    Requirements

    Education and Work Experience

    • Trade Test 1 + 8 years relevant Work experience.
    • An Ordinary National Diploma or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
    • A minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience.

    HVAC Electrical Engineer

    Job Summary:

    • To provide electrical engineering expertise to solve complex HVAC maintenance faults.
    • To provide training and coaching for HVAC technicians.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Supervise the performance of HVAC maintenance activities.
    • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance or called unplanned maintenance and report HVAC availability outcome to Section Head and update history.
    • Inspect HVAC systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
    • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
    • Develop and communicate documented improved approaches to equipment repair to responsible person at the technical services unit.
    • Review maintenance activity report and update all necessary documentation (history, inspection check lists, operating standards).
    • Provide on-the-job training for HVAC Technicians.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Section Head.
    • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance to all Management Systems.

    Requirements

    Education and Work Experience

    • B. Sc. / HND in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
    • A minimum of Three (3) years work experience in a similar electrical role in an industrial environment.
    • Must have achieved relevant certification(s) and preferably a member of relevant professional bodies

    Skills and Behaviours

    • Good knowledge of cement products and cement manufacturing processes (experience as an engineer desirable).
    • Expert knowledge of Electrical engineering.
    • Ability to assess equipment performance and report exhaustive based on observed fact.

    Job Summary

    The Dangote Cement Plc is seeking a skilled and experienced Refractory Supervisor to join our team. As a Refractory Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and management of refractory in our plant. Your key duties and responsibilities will include participating in planning and organizing refractory repairs, scheduling maintenance and turnarounds, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Plan, organize, and supervise all refractory repairs and turnarounds.
    • Schedule refractory maintenance and coordinate activities with other departments.
    • Monitor and control refractory inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials.
    • Train and mentor refractory technicians, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
    • Oversee the installation, inspection, and maintenance of refractory linings in high-temperature equipment.

    Requirements

    • Trade Test 1 + 24 -30 Years experience or OND (Relevant discipline) +10 - 20 Years experience in refractory installation, maintenance, and management.
    • Experience in the cement industry is preferred.

    The Management Information System (MIS) Officer prepares and present central reports on the whole fleets for daily operations meeting and deliberations. The management Information system (MIS) officer is the custodian of information of the fleets.

    Legal Officer

    Job Summary:

    The Legal Officer shall be responsible for monitoring and/or advising on all legal matters, commercial contracts, and agreements as related to DCP operations, ensuing compliance with the statutory and corporate governance practices and guidelines.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Draft a wide variety of legal agreements as may be contingent on DCP business matters.
    • Provide internal advisory support services on corporate legal matters to business units and departments within DCP.
    • Provide commercial legal support to all departmental projects and job functions.
    • Support in the development of service level agreements SLA’s for service delivery to all DCP business units.
    • Monitor the maintenance of the registers and other records required to be maintained by the Company under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA).
    • Analyze and review legal agreements, legislation and documents for the Management.
    • Liaise with external counsel in the management and resolution of disputes
    • Ensure the compliance with laid down guidelines (with emphasis on deadlines where stipulated), policies and procedures with internal and external parties in/with DCP
    • Investigate issues of non-compliance and report same promptly to the HOD
    • Review and Advice management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures.
    • Provide all such other administrative and other secretarial duties as directed by the Head of Department and/or Company Secretary.

    Requirements

    • A good first degree (LL.B) in Law/Legal Studies) from an accredited Institution
    • A member of the Nigerian Bar Association
    • Must have at least 3-5 years post graduate experience
    • Proven experience in research, analysis and legal advisory on fundamental business matters
    • Experience in contract drafting and negotiation as well as dispute resolution,
    • Good understanding of general and specific company and commercial law in Nigeria
    • Managing compliance with regulatory institutions and support driving same in DCP business and official engagements
    • Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
