Job Description:
As an Area Director of SADC and EAC you will focus on developing Covidien business in the assigned area. The position will provide leadership to the sales team as well as the distributors in planning, defining and executing the business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

•     Lead the operations with integrity and ethical conduct, compliant with all laws, policies, and regulations
•     Develop and execute strategy, managing different business portfolios and respective direct and indirect teams
•     Develop and implement business strategy to build the business, ensuring its constant and sustainable growth
•     Partner with business unit marketing teams to drive effective, profitable, and sustainable business model
•     Lead and develop direct reports, drive customer focus and innovation

Minimum Requirements

•     As an Area Director you must have previous experience in business development in Africa
•     Experience in the medical devices market
•     Proven experience of successfully getting results in complex and challenging environments
•     Bachelor’s degree
•     Willing to travel internationally

Preferred Requirements:

•     Experience in multinational company is preferred
