    Senior Associate, Data Analytics

    The role: 

    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Associate, Data Analytics to join our team. You are an individual who is passionate about data, driven to make a  difference, and eager to solve complex problems? In this role, you will have the opportunity to analyze data, provide insights, and drive decision-making. You will be a key member of the team and will play a vital role in shaping the future of our company.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop and deliver analytics reporting and Business Intelligence dashboards and reports as required by business areas
    • Interpreting data and analysis into impactful, action-orientated insights for internal stakeholders
    • Promote a data-driven mindset and collaborate with stakeholders in defining business problems and delivering analytics solutions that produce tangible business results
    • Develop strong cross-functional partnerships across the company (Engineering, Product, Finance, Marketing, Operations, etc.)
    • Support the team and/or other analysts in the design, construction, and implementation of appropriate analytical processes which support business objectives.
    • Interface with business teams to understand their data requirements and provide them with actionable insights and reports.
    • Communicate key findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders using storytelling techniques
    • Perform ETLs as may be required

    Competency and Skill Requirement:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other related fields of core sciences or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience working as a data analyst.
    • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools for data visualization.
    • Expertise with SQL with knowledge of cloud data warehouses. Python would be a plus.
    • Experience in building statistical models and machine learning is a strong plus.
    • Domain experience in one or more of the following disciplines, such as Risk, Marketing, and Digital products is a strong plus. 
    • Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills to articulate ideas, frame problems, and offer solutions. 
    • Strong leadership track record with the ability to work independently and effectively with leadership teams.
    • Experience with A/B or multivariate testing.
    • A balanced strategic and tactical thinker with strong presentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    • Able to manage multiple cross-functional projects across different departments.

    Manager, Tax & Transfer Pricing Compliance and Audits

    The Role: 

    Flutterwave is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Tax & Transfer Pricing Compliance and Audits to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee tax compliance, transfer pricing strategies, and manage audits across multiple jurisdictions in alignment with Flutterwave's business objectives.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Lead the development and execution of tax compliance strategies to ensure adherence to local and international tax regulations, including but not limited to corporate income tax, value-added tax (VAT), transfer pricing regulations, and other relevant tax laws.
    • Coordinate and manage the activities of consultants across multiple African countries
    • Oversee transfer pricing compliance processes, including documentation, benchmarking analysis, and ensuring compliance with relevant transfer pricing regulations in jurisdictions where Flutterwave operates.
    • Coordinate and manage transfer pricing audits by tax authorities, including preparation of documentation, responses to inquiries, and negotiation of resolutions to ensure favorable outcomes for Flutterwave.
    • Offer expert tax advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on various tax matters, including structuring transactions, tax implications of business initiatives, and potential tax risks and opportunities.
    • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations in relevant jurisdictions and assess their potential impact on Flutterwave's tax compliance obligations and overall business operations.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and external tax advisors, to ensure alignment of tax strategies with business objectives and foster a culture of tax compliance within the organization.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline tax compliance processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices to optimize tax compliance efforts across Flutterwave's global operations.
    • Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging issues related to tax compliance, transfer pricing, and regulatory developments to proactively address potential challenges and capitalize on opportunities.

    Required competency and skillset to be a Waver:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field; Advanced degree and professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACA, ACCA, CTA) preferred.
    • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in tax compliance, transfer pricing, and tax audits, preferably in a multinational corporation or professional services firm.
    • Strong understanding of international tax laws, transfer pricing principles, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing tax compliance projects and transfer pricing audits, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes and mitigating tax risks.
    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and identify practical solutions to address tax challenges.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, anticipate future tax trends, and develop proactive tax strategies to support Flutterwave's long-term business goals.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to lead a team, influence others, and drive change in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
