Requirements:

• Possession of a current license to practice professional nursing.
• 2  year's experience as a professional registered nurse. 
• A bachelor's  degree is required in nursing or a related field.
• Applicant must be proactive and must be able to work with little or no supervision

Job Dscription :

• Obtains a health and developmental history of all students and staff
• Observes the children for development and health patterns in making a nursing
• assessment and nursing diagnosis.
• Identifies health findings, which do not fall within the normal range.
• Applicant must be able to provide  health-related education to students and staff
• Monitoring immunizations, managing communicable diseases, and assessing the school environment as to prevent injury and ensure safety
• Overseeing infection control measures
• Actively participating in school safety plans that address school violence, bullying, and emergencies that may occur at school
• Overseeing medication administration, health care procedures, and the development of healthcare plans
