The overall responsibilities of the “Documentation and Logistics Support Consultant” is to document discussions during The Carter Center’s annual gathering forum scheduled for August 23-24, 2019 in Lagos, Nigeria. Upon conclusion of the forum, the consultant will submit a final report to the Center’s Human Rights Program. Moreover, and in preparation for the forum, the consultant will provide logistical support in the form of liaising with service providers, local partners and others, as requested by the Human Rights Program staff.
DELIVERABLES/TASKS
SCHEDULE/TIME
This Terms of Reference (ToR) covers the period of July 1 to September 5, 2019. The Carter Center will contract an individual for a minimum of 10 days and a maximum of 20 days (as required).
The Carter Center will pay the individual “Documentation and Logistics Support Consultant” contracted under this ToR a daily rate of USD 125 (One Hundred and Twenty-Five United States Dollars).
Total payment will be calculated based on actual total number of days served by the contracted individual, and upon submission of an invoice for the same by the consultant to The Carter Center.
Local tax, and other liabilities, is the responsibility of the individual contracted under this ToR.
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate Degree in international development, human rights, and/or gender. Able to write high quality reports in English. Good facilitation and organization skills with at least 2 years’ experience in the development field.
Strong consideration will be given to female applicants.
This is a National position and open only to residents of Nigeria (currently residing in Lagos).
