To strategically address emerging and re-emerging issues on Collaborative TB/HIV intervention, MSH – Pro-ACT Project continues to re-align intervention in this program area to meet PEPFAR-USAID requirements of reducing TB burden among PLHIV and HIV burden among TB patients. To this end, MSH Pro-ACT project will train Health care workers including TB local Government supervisors in respective projects. This 5 days capacity building intervention will bring health care workers to speed on 12 collaborative TB/HIV intervention areas and as well address gaps in the use of newer technology for TB diagnosis, improve case detection among children, intensify TB burden reduction strategy with IPT and strengthen linkages between care and treatment settings and TB DOTs units in supported facilities. To achieve this, MSH-Pro-ACT project will engage 4 seasoned facilitators to train along MSH technical leads in respective venues of the training. AS part of sustainability to strengthen capacity building in respective project states, identified and qualified trainers from state training centers will support the training faculty during this period.
