Assistant Store Keeper at AFM Recruit

JOB SUMMARY:
Afmrecruit is a recruiting firm based in Lekki phase 1. We are looking to recruit a store keeper for a client of ours that are also based in Lekki Phase 1.
Our client is looking for a hard worker with the ability to go the extra mile to working for the organization.

The company headqauter is in lekki phase 1 and also has a branch office in Ajah/sangotedo axis of lekki epe express way. The store keeper will assistant the other store keepers in carrying out    stated functions.

Job Description

• Store keepers/Material recording clerks keep track of information in order to keep businesses and supply chains on schedule. They ensure proper scheduling, recordkeeping, and inventory control.
• As warehouses increase their use of automation and computers, clerks will become more adept at using technology. Many clerks use tablets or hand-held computers to keep track of inventory. New sensors and tags enable these computers to automatically detect when and where products are moved, making clerks’ jobs more efficient.
• Stock clerks and order fillers receive, unpack, and track merchandise.
• Stock keeper will have to move products from a warehouse to shelves in stores.
• He will keep a record of all items that enter or leave the stockroom and inspect for damaged goods.
• He will also use hand-held scanners to keep track of merchandise.
• He will have to order fillers to retrieve customer orders and ready them to be shipped.
• Material and product inspector weigh, measure, check, sample, and keep accurate records on materials, supplies, and other equipment that enters a warehouse.
• He will have to verify the quantity and quality of items they are assigned, checking for defects and recording what they find.
• To gather information, he will use scales, counting devices, and calculators. He also prepare reports on warehouse inventory levels.
• Production, planning, and expediting clerks ease the flow of information, work, and materials within or among offices in a business.
• He will compile reports on the progress of work and on any production problems that arise.
• He will perform general office tasks, such as distributing mail, sending faxes, or entering data. Expediting clerks maintain contact with vendors to ensure that supplies and equipment are shipped on time.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Check inventory records for accuracy
• Compile reports on various aspects of changes in production or inventory
• Keep records of items shipped, received, or transferred to another location
• Find, sort, or move goods between different parts of the business

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:

• The candidate can be a an SSCE holder with little or no express at all.
• The candidate must be a guy who resides around the environs of Ajah/sangotedo, axis.
• The candidate must prove that he has done it before.
