Account Officer at Bukka Hospitality Limited (Bukka Hut)

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely posting of financial data into the accounting system.
• Manage accounts payable by verifying invoices, processing payments, and managing supplier relationships.
• Monitor accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Monitor and manage daily cash flow, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Conduct regular cash counts and reconcile them with recorded amounts.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Certifications: ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent is an advantage.
