    Account Officer

    Role Overview:

    The role of the account officer is to manage and maintain accounting records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and other financial data. Reporting directly to the Head of Admin, the account officer is responsible to reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts regularly. Prepare and analyze financial statements to provide insights and recommendations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for verifying, allocating, and posting financial transactions in appropriate accounts.
    • Tracking payments to internal, external stakeholders and processing accounts payable and receivable.
    • Generating financial reports and summaries for management review and preparing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Collaborate with the head of admin to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
    • Provide support to the accounting team and other departments as needed.
    • Participate in financial meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
    • Communicate with clients to resolve every account related issue.

    Key Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management or any related field.
    • Proven experience: of at least 2 - 5 years in accounting.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
