Accountant at Doheney Services Ltd

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records and accounts
• Prepare and present financial reports to the Senior Leadership Team and Governors
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and best practices
• Develop and manage the school budget
• Process and reconcile financial transactions
• Manage cash flow and ensure timely payment of invoices
• Coordinate external audits and ensure implementation of recommendations
• Provide financial guidance and support to staff
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Experience working in accounting or finance, preferably in an educational setting
• Knowledge of financial regulations and laws applicable to schools
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work accurately and attention to detail
