Assistant Accountant at Rotic Aluminium Extrusion

We are currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Accountant at our facility in Awka, Anambra State. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for assisting the Accountant with all financial related tasks to ensure efficiency in our operations.

Recent graduates who have completed NYSC or about to complete NYSC are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and analyzing company expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance with budgetary guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of receipts and invoices of all company expenses.
• Report any record of discrepancies to the accountant.
• Assist in preparing expense reports for management review.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse team for necessary records and information confirmation.
• Manage financial aspects of procurement, including purchase orders, vendor payments, and cost tracking.
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions and update the accounting system accordingly.
• Assist in preparing and processing payroll by verifying employee time records, deductions, and benefits, for timely payment of all employees.
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Perform other financial tasks as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of HND in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal skills, and high level of integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
