Back End Developer at Sovereign Technology & Innovation Limited

Job Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of technical solutions from coding, staging, deployment and maintenance.
• Design and improve the maintainability of the code base through innovative design.
• Constantly communicate with technical team in embracing agile practices.
• Diagnose complex issues various levels of the stack.
• Understand the business context deeply and leverage engineering knowledge to identify risks and propose creative solutions to problems.
• Work collaboratively to complete projects, showcase progress, and address problems.
• Constantly improve to keep pace with new innovations and technologies.
• Work alongside front-end developers and technical team to produce efficient and user-friendly systems.

Job Requirements:

• First Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related field.
• 2-3yrs of proven cognate experience working with Java Spring, Node JS or Python.
• Good understanding of relational database, and agile methodologies.
• Working knowledge of core data structures.
• Test-driven development (TDD) experience.
• Familiarity and knowledge of at least one CI/CD tool.
• Experience with the AWS, and design principles.
• Strong team player with the ability to improve knowledge and skills.
• Good interpersonal & communication skills.
• Strong passion for software development.
