    Business Development Manager

    Key Responsibilities
    As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving growth by identifying and securing business opportunities. Your core responsibilities will include:

    • Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities to meet and exceed Annual Business Plan Targets.
    • Conducting extensive market mapping within assigned regions to identify potential clients for Internet Leased Lines and other services.
    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with C-level executives of potential and existing accounts.
    • Understanding client needs, providing solutions, and responding to client inquiries and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
    • Collaborating with sales, marketing, and leadership teams to secure, retain, and grow business accounts.
    • Delivering presentations and providing information at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences.
    • Maintaining a prospect client database and updating CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Excel, etc.).
    • Engaging in cold calling, scheduling appointments, and closing sales, guiding clients through the sales process.
    • Meeting or exceeding quotas for outbound calls, sales appointments, and revenue targets.
    • Managing and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline through CRM software.
    • Assisting in planning and forecasting sales goals with management, while maintaining both short- and long-term business development plans.
    • Coordinating with support teams to ensure timely resolution of client issues.
    • Ensuring collection of receivables is achieved as per set targets.

    Technical Knowledge:

    • Internet Bandwidth & Leased Circuits
    • Smart Solutions & Internet of Things (IoT)
    • Internet Broadband

    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
    • Effective listening and problem-solving capabilities
    • Time management and organizational skills
    • Critical thinking and decision-making abilities
    • Ability to identify and pursue potential leads
    • Strong negotiation and sales closing skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives (Managers, Directors, VPs, CxOs)
    • Strong CRM knowledge (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
    • Sales management, marketing, strategic management, and business planning skills
    • Ability to manage and coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders
    • Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
    • Integrity, honesty, and a customer-focused mindset
    • Team player with a results-oriented approach
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    • Achievement of sales targets
    • Meeting revenue growth goals

    • Timely collections of receivables
    • Customer retention and churn management

    Academic Qualifications

    • Master’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent
    • NYSC Certified
    • Experience in a Telecommunications Company or Internet provider company

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2-4 years of B2B experience in the telecommunications industry or Internet Service Provider sector.
    • Strong knowledge of Internet Leased Lines, Leased Line services, Home Broadband, FTTH, FTTX, VoIP, IPTV, and overall Telecommunications operations.
