    Business Intelligence Manager

    Job Summary & Purpose

    • We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Intelligence (BI) Manager to join our team and play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making processes within our organization.
    • As the BI Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our business intelligence strategies, tools, and solutions.
    • Your expertise will contribute to the optimization of our operations, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring that critical business insights are accessible to key stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive business intelligence strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Collaborate with executive leadership to understand business requirements and align BI initiatives to support data-driven decision-making.
    • Oversee the collection, integration, and validation of data from various sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy. Conduct in-depth data analysis to extract meaningful insights, patterns, and trends, and present findings to senior management and department heads.
    • Evaluate and select appropriate BI tools and technologies to support data visualization, reporting, and analytics needs. Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of BI tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in data-driven decision-making.
    • Manage a team of BI analysts and data professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages continuous learning and skill development.
    • Collaborate with departments across the organization to identify BI needs, understand business processes, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the BI team.
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to monitor the organization's performance against targets. Regularly review performance metrics with leadership to identify areas of improvement and potential risks.
    • Ensure that data handling and storage practices adhere to industry best practices and regulatory requirements, including data privacy and security.
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops to increase BI awareness and data literacy among employees, empowering them to leverage data in their daily operations.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in BI and analytics. Propose and implement process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance BI capabilities.

    Education / Professional Qualification

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's Degree is a plus.
    • Proven experience (typically 8-10 years) in business intelligence, data analysis, or related roles, with at least 5 years of managerial experience.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

    Key Skills & Competencies:

    • Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or similar platforms.
    • Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and database concepts.
    • Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data integration techniques.
    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Strong communication and presentation abilities to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
    • Experience working with large datasets and proficiency in SQL and other data querying languages.
    • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and design principles.
    • Familiarity with data governance, data privacy, and regulatory compliance considerations.
    • Project management skills to plan, prioritize, and execute BI initiatives effectively.
    • Project management knowledge relative to scope, time, quality, and cost. • Instrumentation, calibration, and component selection.
    • Pro-active, attention to detail and solution-oriented
    • Excellent communication skills – Report writing skills is essential
    • Energetic, independent, and self-driven
    • Time management skills.
    • Good knowledge of electrical panel design, wiring and components identification.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team
    • Ability to deliver quality service always
    • Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving abilities

    • Willing to travel locally and internationally.
