Job Overview

• We are looking for a Cafe Manager to organize daily operations and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the cafe
• To ensure drinks are prepared according to the recipes and maintain consistency.
• To ensure all the café supplies needed (like takeaway cups, coffee, milk, and other ingredients) are provided on time.
• To ensure that all café suppliers are prudently utilized, and minimize wastage and breakages..
• Receiving delivered café supplies and verifying that the correct items and quantities have been delivered.
• Update and report records daily, weekly, and monthly revenues and expenses.
• Collaborate with F&B Manager by suggesting new menu items based on seasonality and customers’ preferences and feedback
• Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain fixtures and fittings and ensure all cafe areas are clean and tidy.
• Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements and Skills

• First Degree (HND, B.Sc, or equivalent) in a relevant field
• 2 - 5 years experience.
• Possession of hospitality certification is advantageous.
• Work experience as a Cafe Manager
• Proven management experience in the hospitality industry.
• Hands-on experience with professional coffee machines
• Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
• Availability to work within opening hours (including weekends and holidays)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Proven customer service attitude.
• Strong working knowledge of proper food and beverage service and kitchen operation.
