The cleaner role presents an opportunity to join PEPHLA Laboratory Centre, where knowledge, experience, and skills are rewarded.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure a clean and hygienic medical laboratory centre. This includes sweeping, mopping, wipe, sanitise, dusting, and vacuuming floors, carpets, and furniture.
• To collect and dispose waste materials, garbage, and recyclables according to standards.
• To clean and sanitise toilets, sinks, and mirrors. windows, glass surfaces to ensure infection free medical laboratory centre.
• To follow procedures and guidelines of the medical laboratory centre.
• To follow all safety protocols rules and procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents and ensure personal and environmental safety.
• To report maintenance or repair issues for repairs/replacement.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

• To perform manual tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and carrying cleaning equipment and supplies.
• To manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• To be punctual and reliable.
• To have a good communication skill.
• To be trustworthy with respectful behaviour.
• Must be confidential with sensitive information.

Job Type    Part-Timet: 14 hours per week, 7 days a week.
Job Location    Ada-George Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State
Salary per Calendar Month    N35k – N45k Depending on experience and skills
