    Commercial Credit Sales Lead

    Urgent Vacancy 

    Location: Lagos Island (Marina)
    Industry: Finance/ Investment 


    Responsibilities:

    • Lead, oversee and direct Commercial Banking’s Recruitment Strategy, including attracting and retaining talent through the creation, development, implementation and sustainment of new processes, tools and measurements
    • Support the development of best-in-class bankers through the development and sustainment of customized training programs, applicable to all lines of business in Commercial Banking
    • Expand and sustain Commercial Banking development programs
    • Foster and grow client relationships with 3rd party channels particularly private banking space
    • Provide a comprehensive service to Direct Clients of the bank and to ensure the smooth processing of their Mortgage, -Deposit, Current Account or Insurance application
    • Gather required documentation and information for deposit openings and other product sales including treasury management products and new loans
    • Proactively call customers for customer on-boarding activities including new deposit customers
    • Manage complex, cross-functional, cross line of business programs with regulatory significance
    • Lead and direct the Sales Force Effectiveness team in the development and execution of key initiatives and strategies
    • Build strong business relationships by engaging various internal and external stakeholders

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Services, Education, Business, Management, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science
    • Relevant work experience in a Compliance or Operational Risk role
    • Previous knowledge of RFP (process and procedures) mandatory
    • Knowledge of CB credit process, treasury products and pricing philosophy
    • Branch management experience an asset
    • The job holder is expected to meet clients and forge strong relations.
