    Data Entry Clerk

    Responsibilities

    • Create spreadsheets to track important information and orders.
    • Transfer data from a hard copy to a digital database.
    • Update information in a database.
    • Organize existing data in a spreadsheet.
    • Provide occasional administrative support.
    • Sort and organize hard copies of paperwork after entering data electronically.
    • Review data for deficiencies or errors.
    • Assist with special projects that require large amounts of data entry.
    • Provide data entry support across the department
    • Type in data quickly and efficiently.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess a First Degree with at least 2 years of work experience.
    • Proven experience as a data entry clerk
    • Fast typing skills
    • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
    • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware
    • Basic understanding of databases
    • Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
    • Great attention to detail.
