Data Scientist at ARODA

Job Description

• Support and understanding of Data Science design and methodology.
• Understand business needs and help offer innovative solutions.
• Work on creating new solutions use cases, proof of concept and prototypes by exploring diverse data sets using tools such as python/r.
• Understand product and services to suggest new solutions for client challenges.
• Collaborate with other Data team units.
• Automate and develop solutions for existing processes.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years relevant work experience.
• Experience using big data batch and Streaming tools (Spark, AWS tools, Hadoop)
• Experience in building models that have been deployed to production (e.g. marketing, demand forecasting, or supply chain)
• Understanding of high-performance ML algorithms (SVM's, gradient boosted decision trees, deep neural networks, etc.) and with tool kits/frameworks from R or python, preferably cloud deployment experience.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Self-starter with a high level of intellectual curiosity
• Strong analytical and hardworking problem-solving mindset
• Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable and effective workplace.
