    Design Structural |Engineer

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the structural design and analysis of various building and infrastructure projects.
    • Collaborate with the project team to develop innovative and cost-effective design solutions.
    • Perform structural calculations, simulations, and modeling to ensure structural integrity and compliance with regulations.
    • Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
    • Review and approve construction drawings, ensuring adherence to design standards and codes.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and drafters.
    • Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to discuss project requirements and resolve design-related queries.
    • Conduct site visits to assess construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
    • Participate in design and project meetings, presenting design proposals and progress reports.
    • Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in structural engineering.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural engineering after completing the graduate degree.
    • Proficient in structural design software and tools (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro).
    • Strong understanding of relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
    • Demonstrated experience in designing various structural systems (e.g., steel, concrete, timber).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in complex design scenarios.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress towards obtaining one is a plus.
    • Experience in designing sustainable and environmentally conscious structures is desirable.
