    Diction Teacher

    Job Summary:

    • We are seeking an articulate and experienced Diction Teacher to join our faculty.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the art of clear and effective speech, helping students improve their pronunciation, articulation, and overall communication skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging diction lessons that address various aspects of speech, including pronunciation, enunciation, and articulation.
    • Assess students' speaking abilities and develop individualized plans to address areas for improvement.
    • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
    • Foster a supportive and positive learning environment that encourages students to practice and refine their speaking skills.
    • Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their diction and confidence in speaking.
    • Organize and participate in activities that promote effective communication, such as debates, public speaking events, and drama performances.
    • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate diction training across the curriculum.
    • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
    • Stay updated with best practices in speech and communication training.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Education, Communication, or a related field.
    • Experience teaching diction, speech, or a related subject in an educational setting.
    • Strong knowledge of phonetics, pronunciation, and speech mechanisms.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to inspire and motivate students to improve their speaking skills.
    • Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
    • Commitment to continuous professional development.
