Diesel Generator Operator at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Responsibilities

• Operate diesel generator ranging from 200kva-2500kva
• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel generators checking for worn parts and leaks.
• Troubleshooting and repair of diesel generators whenever fault occurs.
• Responsible for top or complete overhauling of Diesel Generator.
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, 3-phase generators, and transfer switches as they apply to various equipment and systems when voltage, amperage, cycles and phases show defects.
• Should install, troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain and repair a variety of large, small and complex heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration.
• Ensure the wiring and electrical components are up to code and work efficiently and safely.

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Mechanical Engineering.
• Residence in Kano and Commutability to Gwarzo road is essential.
• Minimum of 3 years cognate experience as a Generator Maintenance Officer.
• Seasoned technician with a minimum of TTC / NABTEB / Diploma / OND qualifications.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication skills (oral and written).
• Well familiar with Mikano Diesel Engine Generator.
