ROLE PURPOSE:
Save the Children is implementing a digital education program in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees [UNHCR] created by the Telefónica Foundation and “La Caixa” Foundation, whose hallmarks are quality, sustainability, and accessibility from anywhere in the world. With the aim to become a global reference in transformation and innovation in education and seek to narrow the education gap in vulnerable environments in Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia.
The Digital Learning Coaches will be responsible for coordinating and delivering face-to-face training sessions for the teachers in the project earmarked schools, as well as continuous monitoring of teachers and learners to ensure the acquisition of skills and the use of ProFuturo resources, comply with the activities of the operational plan of the project to achieve the scope of the goals established for each educational centre; while also updating field reports and incidences on ProFuturo Salesforce portal. The role holder will also be responsible for recording daily attendance of learners in the supported schools, addressing low attendance rates, assisting in data entry and verification of refugee learners, and providing support to the education officers during the conduct of back-to-school campaigns.
