Field Engineer at R.T Communication Ltd

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Provide advanced technical knowledge and support for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of surveillance sensors, cameras, and radars. 
• Conduct thorough equipment inspections to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions. 
• Participate in the planning and execution of equipment installation, upgrades, and maintenance projects. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of surveillance equipment into offshore terminal operations. 
• Monitor and maintain the operational readiness of surveillance systems to minimize downtime and disruptions. 
• Analyse equipment performance data to identify trends and proactively address potential issues. 
• Collaborate with remote technical support teams to resolve complex technical challenges. 
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, and share knowledge with the team. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any other related field. 
• Ability to communicate in Hausa language, fluently.
• 3-5 years working experience. 
• Proven expertise in working with sensors, cameras, and radars, with a strong track record of successful installations and maintenance. 
• In-depth knowledge of industry-specific safety standards and regulations. 
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
• Proficiency in relevant software tools for equipment diagnostics and reporting. 
• Willingness to work in remote locations, adhering to strict safety protocols.
