    Finance Officer

    Job Description

    • Experienced and detail-oriented Finance Officer with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on financial management experience.
    • Adept at overseeing financial operations, budgeting, and financial reporting.
    • Proven track record of ensuring fiscal responsibility, regulatory compliance, and optimizing financial processes.
    • Seeking to contribute expertise in finance and accounting to support the financial health and strategic goals of the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
    • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and adherence to accounting principles.
    • Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
    • Monitor budget performance and provide analysis of variances.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
    • Present financial results and insights to support decision-making
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
    • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
    • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
    • Provide insights on cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible experience in finance and accounting roles.
    • Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.
    • Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
    • Professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACA) are advantageous.
