Financial Accountant at NUGI Limited

Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare budget forecasts and monitor financial performance
• Publish accurate and timely financial statements
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
• Ensure timely and accurate bank payments
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Generate financial reports to assess the company's financial health and liquidity
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data and perform database backups when necessary
• Adhere to financial policies and regulations

Requirements/Skills:

• Proven experience with accounting software like QuickBooks and Peachtree
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis
• Familiarity with general ledger functions and financial reporting
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Experience: 

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction industry.

Qualification: 

• BSc or HND in Accounting
