    Financial Analyst

    About the job

    • We are a leading player in medical diagnostic equipment distribution, patient care, and consumer products in West Africa.
    • This is an exciting role focused on providing complete back support to grow newly created vertical offering value added solutions.

    Key Job Responsibilities

    • Focal point for customers and internal sales team for all Value-Added Solutions products
    • Manage new and existing Value-Added Solutions, e.g., Equipment Finance Plans (EFP), Equipment Buyback, Annual Maintenance Care Plans, Extended Warranty – Plans through entire product life cycle journey.
    • Calculating Costs for different VAS products and submitting quotes to customers
    • Post customer acceptance, prepare agreement for sign-off.
    • Share signed services agreements with Customer Service and Engineering Services for execution of contract terms.
    • Develop tracking sheet to monitor each VAS proposal from enquiry to agreement sign-off stage.
    • Accounting for the cost and revenue of all value-added solutions
    • Re. EFP – Appraise all customer proposals according to SOP.
    • Negotiate with the Insurance companies to provide cover on equipment financing.
    • Interaction with Legal team for recovery of defaulting equipment finance scheme
    • Conduct customer credit appraisals.
    • Consolidate and analyse financial data for Value added solutions.

    Qualifications and skills:

    • Chartered accountant and/or MBA with specialization in Finance
    • Have a good understanding and hands-on experience in Lease Financing, Credit appraisals, Credit proposal documentation, Recovery of bad debts etc.
    • 3 to 5 years’ Experience in the Credit/ Loan section of a reputed bank sector or Equipment lease finance company.
    • Comfortable in interaction with customers
    • Experience in developing financial and risk models for different VAS
    • Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
    • Effective communication and confidence to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
    • Adherence to deadlines
