Frontend Developer at Source Microfinance Bank

Role Overview

• We are looking for a qualified Front-end developer to join our IT team. You will be responsible for building the ‘client-side’ of our web applications.
• Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. 

Job Responsibilities

• Implement frontend user interfaces using ReactJS and other web technologies.
• Ensure responsiveness, usability, and accessibility across different devices and browsers.
• Design, develop, and maintain web applications that provide banking services to customers and internal users.
• Build web applications with web development best practices
• Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• 2+ years' experience in frontend development
• Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• Experience building object oriented web applications in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
• Strong proficiency in front-end development using ReactJS and other web technologies. Knowledge of react native is a plus.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and knowledge of related libraries and frameworks.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile software development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and debug complex web issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
